Keeping fit at 60

All though my military career, I was able to keep fit.  When I retired, I completely stopped all fitness activities.  Was so wrong on my part -- should have kept moving!

Now with the new year, I add a few goals to help me get back to a healthier lifestyle.  Walking each and every day is the goal for this year.  A long with that goal, I added a second part for participating in 5k races.  I can't run anymore, but I can walk in the races.  Just to finish with a good time is the goal.

Each month I have scheduled one 5k race.    The first will be the Colonial Williamsburg 5k at the end of the month.   Can't wait to share this adventure with my readers.
